URD CAI throttle body spacer doug thorley headers straight pipes magnalow muffler URD MAF Sensor Calibrator

ok i have an 08 tacoma with doug thorley long tube headers, straight pipes with a magnaflow exhaust. my CEL didnt come on until a few miles down the road (which i knew might happen) i put a URD o2 simulater in and cleared the CEL and idk if it actually reset the ECU or not so my question is do i have to reset my ECU for it to go back to thinking my cats are still on there and working fine?
