Roughly three weeks ago I took my taco in to take care the sqeaky cutch issue. They replaced the clutch assmbly under the standard warrity.
For the past three days the clutch starts acting sloppy. So I took in today for that and something else need attendtion. The head serivce manger said that there is no adjustment on the clutch.. its hyrducal . I kind of looked at her.. thinking she is bullshiting me. but the asst manger very quicky took me and he will look into it.
He said that I am right, it needs adjustment.. I knew that.. because I saw the topic somewhere in this fourm. .
I just wanna chew that fatass head manger:fenforcer:.
If the clutch needs adjusting again.. I hope someone in here got pics and steps how to do it yourself.
oh yeah its a 2012 taco.

Mine squeaks every so often... not sure what makes it come and go intermittently...? It's also slightly annoying how far out the engagement is on mine. I may look into this. sub'd for someone to link or post regarding adjustment.

It is a Hydraulic Actuated Clutch. That is probably what she meant to say and just screwed it up.

Yup, the pushrod from the pedal to the master cylinder is adjustable. Nothing else is. Did they actually replace the clutch, or the pedal and master cylinder for the creaking noise?

If your speaking of the squeaky clutch pedal, there is a TSB for it now. I had it for a while and finally got it fixed. It hasn't come back and has a smoother feel now.

I drive an 08 I have had since new. My manual clutch assembly has been a lot of trouble. In the beginning it was squeaky. I took it in to the dealer while on warranty, they greased it up, and it was fine for a while but the squaking returned. The squeaking eventually went away on its own, but now I am plagued by an assembly that is constantly becoming loose and wiggly. There is a bolt up high at the base of the assembly that I have to regularly check and tighten or the pedal gets loose. To make things worse, when the pedal gets loose, the Cruise Control doesn't work because the the switch it needs to contact gets out of alignment.
I have been really happy with my truck, and enjoy driving the manual transmission, but the clutch assembly is a PITA!

Here is a copy of my service record with the TSB for the clutch. Towards the bottom of the page. It says customer payment, but I didn't pay anything.

I looked up the service record which I had mine done,, its saids
    clutch assy.
    new clutch pedel
    thats all..
I did look under the day before to see what it look like and marked it with a pen. The day they did it and I checked it out before I pull out the dealership. new clutch pedel with partial label remove, the feel of the clutch like new .
The second time, the 2nd asst. manger told me shouldnt have this problem again. ( loose pedel)

If you can get that bolt out, put some lock-tite on it. That should keep it from backing off

that would make too much sense :D . I will likely do that very thing. Getting the hands up under the dash and up to the base of said assembly is a PITA but I will have to try. I do not want to pull the bolt right out because it would be nearly impossible to get back in.
    thanks
