Tow pkg on sport and OR?

Is the tow pkg standard on the sport and OR pkgs,or a $650 option like adding to the SR5?

 

I've personally never seen one without the tow pack but people o. Here have said they have seen them before, so I guess it's possible.

 

I thought the tow package was standard on TRD models but that might be a Canada thing

 

650.00 option on my sport.

 

X2. I also thought they were standard equipment on TRD Sport and OR models but I could be wrong.

 

I have a sport '09. Dealer told me it was standard on all TRD models. There probably was a $650 line item on my invoice but it was not optional if I wanted a sport or OR.

Yeah, here we only have one dealer here, and they only bring in a few configurations of each model. If you want something different you need to special order.
In fact if you go to Toyota's website and try to build your own, after you put in a Hawaii zip code, it will redirect you to the Hawaii dealers site. We cant even build our own to see the options!

 

Just happened to have my folder with my Toyota info out and on the window sticker it was a $650.00 option on my '08 OR.

 

I test drove a 2013 TRD Sport DC 4x4 ...came very close to buying it.
When crunching the numbers something didn't add up so
I went outside to check for the hitch and it wasn't there. No tow package.
The sales guy thought they were all standard too...wasn't on the window sticker.
I bought a 2013 TRD Off Road and it had the tow package & listed it as an option.
So yeah for $650 ours come with the tow package.
This was in the US Northeast Region.

 

towing package is a stand alone RPO.

although every 6-lugger I've seen in my area has it.

 

When I was first looking at Tacomas I had the same question. What almost every salesman told me was that it was a $650 option but just about every v6 tacoma has it. It was a $650 option on my window sticker on my '13 Sport.

 

My factory window sticker listed under options, amongst others:
