I have my 2013 Tacoma Double Cab TRD 4x4 for a few months and wandering what other people were getting in mpg? I have kept up with my mpg for 15 fuel-ups and my MPG is 17.94 . I pull a trailer about once a week for a out 20 to 30 miles.

I was just wandering what people getting with their 2013 and 2012 tacoma . I also have a 2013 4runner it gets around 24.4 all the time, kind of weird it gets better than the tacoma the best I ever got is around 21 on a trip. But most of the time it's 17.9

Right at 17 on my 2012. About 18.5 was the best I've ever gotten with mine.

It should improve with age, give it time, my 08 double cab prerunner was consistent 18-25 (yes 25 on hwy), my 11 4wd AC is 18-22, havent opened her up yet for a long road trip we will see. I also run 93 though, helps with that tick.

My second tank of gas. Driving easy but in the hills of n.h. mountains. 300 miles round trip up, and then back. I did this in 1/2 tank. Regular 87 octane. Works out to about 27 mpg. On the flats I bet I would have got close to 30! This is a access cab 2 WD 4cyl auto. I'm happy with the torque and trans that keeps the rpms 2k or less allowing for dang good mpg. You stick guys wont beat the mpg of the auto, not in the 2wd unit.

So far I've been averaging about 18.8 mpg with about 2500 miles on the odometer. However, I have not done any towing or hauling yet. I'm hoping that it will get a little better after the engine is fully broken in.

All right, thread jacking in progress...

Been tracking my gas milage just like everyone else. Have 275/70r17 Silents Armors on stock '12 Sport. The size difference is 5% according to the tire size calculator. The speedo always read wrong by 2-3 mph at 60 with the stock 265/65r17 Dunpukes on, it, reads just about perfect now with the 275's on there. Should I be incorporating that 5% difference in size if the milage is apparently correct now?
It'll bring me up from 17.5ish to almost 19mpg.

hypermiling wont happen in the tight curvy up & down roads in the NH mountains. Especially with winter blend fuel, and on a brand new truck with 300 miles. Maybe in boulder where you drive, I'd get 32. :notsure:
If I can hold the gear @ 65 @ 2100 rpm I do real well, but many times through the up/down twisties, I get into the converter. Coming back from fla, I got 28 on my 3.7 I-5 colorado. Seeing what you got I'm more confident of pulling out 30+ on the flats in warmer temps and after break-in. And I'll be holding my coffee or girlfriend the whole time, not a knob.
