Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Shit you basically have a 3/4 ton after that, bet it rides like a old grain truck too after those were put on.

The page says they add 5 to the two stock top leafs. The 10 you see would be each side paired up. The 7 would make sense. Don't know about the 8 :notsure:

Sounds an awful lot like the OMD mod.

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
Looks interesting. I know my rear springs suck with any weight in the back, I've hit the bumpstops way more than I should. Another option is always good.

I'd think without a slide in camper or towing something heavy these would be stiff and not comfortable for everyday.

Multiple leaves provide a progressively stiffer ride. A single heavy leaf can provide a much harsher ride than a properly designed multileaf pack.
Read the article again, there is good info in it.

    From the article:
Above: This picture shows all the pieces of the kit. It also highlights the three different progressive stages in the leaves. As the vehicle sags, more and more leaves are picked up to increase the stiffness.

Note, the 10 leaves are shipped bolted together. Also see the 4 U bolts in the pic? Thats the whole kit.

I called the manufacture and they are only for 4 wheel drive. Nothing for the 2 wheel. Said they will put it on their list.

I called them back and this time they checked with their engineer and said they will fit a 2 wheel drive TRD OR. List price is $665.95.

Whoa... at $665, they can go pound sand. They're in custom leaf pack cost territory with that price. I'd go with a full leaf pack long before I shelled out that kind of money for a beefed up AAL.

from the link: " Tom’s Tacoma was sagging with a loaded camper. Keep in mind that Tom’s Four Wheel Camper has all the bells and whistles including extra water and fuel tanks attached to the back of the camper. Those heavy fluids on the rear of the camper become a leverage point moving the center of gravity back and making the truck sag even more."

The weight on the rear of the camper would not make the tongue weigh heavier, would it?
