Yeah, I would wait to get what you wanted. IMO the V6 is tow package is worth the wait.

So this answers a question from yesterday "Do all TRD come with the towing package?"
Some speculated it came with the OR and not the Sport, but apparently, the answer is "no", at least in your region.

 

Towing package oil cooler is easy to spot.
Just pop the hood and if there's a "donut" and two cooler lines under the filter, it's factory.
If not, the dealer hacked on a hitch.

 

I never discussed the msrp... I walked in, told them what I had for down and how much I wanted to pay a month... Like I said before its not available around here so I couldn't low ball them too much...
Closed on 33500 out the door including 7% NJ tax, interest, tittle/registration, and dealer fees.... I know I could have done better if the truck was in their stock.

 

Please don't tell me they wrote you into an 84 month contract!

also, whatever someone does to acquire the vehicle they want, is fine, if he needs lower monthly payment to get his truck vs higher payments and shorter term, than thats what works for him. but i can appreciate where your coming from

I just got the truck he wanted, this week, in VA. Why, in pic, is there a chrome rear bumper? I guess if there is no tow package you get a chrome rear bumper, with package a body color bumper. I'd wait to get a truck with the package to get a body color bumper to match the front.

 

The TRD OR is always chrome bumper

 

The OR model comes with a chrome bumper.. Sport is colormatched
