Identifying a LSD

    Re: rear differential. The window sticker on my 2010 SR5 4WD says I have a LSD. I'm told the rear must have a LSD sticker on it for that to be true. Mine has a sticker saying C3. It sure doesn't act like LSD. Any help?

    its all brake controlled, so its not a true LSD it will help when one tire starts spinning and brake it so more power is applied to the other


    the slip is detected by the speed sensors in the axles themselves


    so you have an electronic LSD but not a mechanical LSD
