I just purchased the viper 5301 and the PKALL for the remote start. I have a 2011 TRD with the gulf coast alarm. I read all the threads on the remote start but none mention the Gulf Cost alarm. Has anyone done this before? I was also curious about the aux outputs for the 5301. I build a console vault (I hope the Vault guy doesn't get me for patent infringement) and wanted to use one of the outputs to trigger the lock. I am on the fence about installing it my self or having it installed. I installed the factory bluetooth, removed it, and installed an App radio, so I think I can handle it, but the Gulf Coast alarm and lack of documentation on it is making me hesitant.

I have never heard of "Gulf Coast Alarm" before. If you have no experience or someone experienced near you when you go to install(and remove the old alarm) this I wouldn't suggest you to tackle it. I would suggest you to get a professional to do it.

From my understanding all the southeastern Tacos come with a little red LED to the left of the steering column. The service guy told me it is the alarm used in the southeastern region.
