New tacoma needs lift

Hey everyone, just got a 2010 tacoma 4x4 access cab.
want to put a 3" leveling kit and some 32x11.5 BGF all terrains.
i was wondering what would look good and function properly.

i was gonna go with the ready lift 3" front 1" rear blocks.
I wanted to also put a wheel spacer, I like the wider tire look so I wanted to go with the 1.5 inch, even though most recommend the 1.25 inch.

would the 1.5 inch stick out too far? i dont want any problems when getting safety checks. my last tacoma could never pass inspection because the tires stuck out a tad bit too far.

Dont do ready lift or blocks. If money is an issue do 5100s with toytec 3" springs and an AAL in the back. Blocks are junk. 1.5 spacing might cause alignment issues from what i can remember reading up on.

 

would this work? and as for the rear lift what would you suggest?
I want to make sure I have everything i need.

Yah those are the exact ones i have and i like them of course they arent like the icons or kings but for good lift good ride and good quality this is the best choice.

For rear lift id suggest either an AAL or if you have alot of miles on your truck id look at saving up for some Dakars. Look at your leaf sets in the rear and if they are 3 leafs and 1 overload leaf then you need the TSB which ToyTec would be more then happy to set you up with what you need. All in all with the new 5100's and rear add a leaf you should see 3" of lift. I saw around 3.5 because of how shot my shocks and leafs were.

If your leafs are neg arching then i would just recommend full Dakars.

also, how much does a mechanic usually charge to install all of this? im living away from home right now, and dont have a garage or the necessary tools in my situation.

 

Um... its kind of hard to get a good price range but at normal shop rate of 90 an hour id say... 2 hours for rear and 1 and a half maybe 1 hour for each wheel up front so around 4-5 hours of work. would be a good deal. I personally wouldn't pay over 500, but then again im a apprentice mechanic so i dont pay anyone lol they pay me.

 

if I go with this kit (because its half the price), do I need to buy coils? because this kit comes with the coils, but i dont want to spend this much. i guess what im asking is, if i get the bilstiens 5100 do i need to buy new coils? or can i use the coils from my stock shocks?

I want to make sure the kit has everything i need, if not what else would I have to buy?

 

and what exactly do the new coils do?

 

You can use your stock coils with the 5100's. They will be compressed so the ride is going to be a little rougher.
