    Whats a sway bar ???

    troll...^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^:p

The first drive i took when i removed mine (stock susp.) was admittingly an eye opener, found out at the 1st right turn at a little speed, not fast, just brisk.... thought I was going to flip my ride, so did matt (reckless taco) who was behind me. But this was due to the fact that the swaybar was masking an underlying problem with weak saggy coils, restricting the coils cycling (tho' sacked out)as they would normally do, Got diff. coils/Tundra 5100's & all is well in & out of turns smooth, even, firm cornering .... Not saying they're bad just showing a little of the con that comes with them....

Don't even get me started on ABS brakes, especially in my region, they've CAUSED more wrecks than they've prevented for sure..

There's not enough bandwidth for what's happening.
    Attention!!! ---

You really need a sway bar for both safety and on-road ride quality concerns!!!

If you unwittingly removed and disposed of your 2nd gen sway bar, I have one to sell you.

    :D

LOL I haven't had a sway bar in over a year...and I've never looked back. I was a skeptic, but it's taught me to:

    A) Be a more careful driver
    B) Know where to place my tires while off-roading
    C) Know the limits of speeds to turn and how to react properly should I have to jerk the wheel at any time

I work at an off road shop, so every once in a while, I get into a Tacoma that still has a sway bar. It drives like a camry, and I hate it lol

Sway bar doesn't effect the ride quality. It effects the body roll. Your crappy ride is still there.

Had mine off my 08' for awhile with a spacer lift and couldnt notice much besides some more body roll since I live in the mountains its nothing but curves. However, when I sold it I put that turd back on. Was in the scrape pile lol Mines coming off this weekend on the new truck. I mean heck our trucks are not Ferrari's their trucks! My GF says I drive like a grandpa anyways

I had quick release for my 1st gen just like these, but I hear QR for 2nd gen probably won't happen as the room issue. Yes?
