Amazing story of incompetence and overzealousness by LAPD. They were looking for a Nissan Frontier and stopped this vehicle thinking it was the suspects, who had shot an LAPD officer. They opened fire with 108 rounds on a 45 adn 68 yr old women. Luckily neither were hurt in the barrage.

The LAPD is offering to buy then a 2013 Ford F-150 as compensation only if they also take a 1099 with it!

The ladies said no, probably because they have a million dollar pay day coming from the lawsuit, but also because it was a Ford and not a Tacoma.

If I had a blue Tacoma, I would try to replicate it with those bullet hole stickers!

I bet you'd catch more than 2 in the back in an F150

Your post is more riddled with misinformation than that tacoma is with bullet holes.

They didnt stop the vehicle... It was moving towards them at night, driving with it's lights off, on the street where the LAPD was guarding a person's home (that person was on Dorner's list of targets).

They were looking for a Titan, not a frontier.

BOTH women were injured... One was hit in the back and one was injured by broken glass.

Also, the two women accepted 40,000 dollars for the damage to the truck, just days ago.

That settlement is unrelated to what they'll get when they sue for injury and personal damages.

There were certainly some mistakes made... But you have no idea what you're talking about.

Might be for sale at a good price, after police impound.

Cant believe that the cops would just open fire like that, with no comunication with the susposed suspects. I would think that they shuld have been able to see the difference between a Tacoma and a Nissan Titan.

You just have to laugh at all these Monday morning quarterbacks judging the cops when they not only don't know the real story, they have never and will never be in a life threatening situation. It's so easy to judge from the safety of your moms basement.

I was going to reply to this and shut you down, but I decided I didn't want to get the 8th Dorner thread locked...

I hope their settlement is massive and the discipline legendary. Use of force was supposed to be the last resort... not intended for 70+ year olds on their paper route.

108 shots fired, and one mild wound to an innocent senior citizen. I just can't help myself..

I did meet an awesome Costa Mesa cop the other day. He has a Tundra and he stopped me to admire my truck. We BS'd for 10-15 minutes.. lol :oldglory: :D
