Nothing better than Weathertechs. Cost me about $180 for the front and rear of my double cab.

I ended up going with Weathertechs - they look good and have done a fine job of keeping the carpet clean. Though I'm a little more worried about what my 1-year old drops rather than bringing in slop from a work site at this point ...

Which one holds water better? I launch my jet ski at the ocean once a month and hate water going to the side of the cheap mats.

Ok I have 3 Set of WeatherTech, 1 set Husky, 2 sets Rugged Ridge and 1 set Quadratec. I have full sets to include back on my suvs, rear seats, etc. I do agree that WeatherTech are fantastic but for my son's new 2014 Tacoma SR5 double cab I went with the Ruggid Ridge ( http://www.ruggedridge.com/truck-floor-liners.html ). They have almost equal coverage, are made of durable material that still has excellent conforming properties and it has a great tread like pattern that moves water, snow, etc town and away.

They also have a self sealing floor hoock attachment that the huskies do not have. The weathertech just are too smooth form my asthetic likes. I like the "rugged" patern to the Rugged Ridge liners. Quadratech are even better but they do not make them for Tacomas. I have them in a 2012 Jeep Sahara Unlimited and the Rugged Ridge in a 2007 Jeep Sahara. Hope this helps.

A friend had a full set (Front and Back) of WeatherTechs that he sold me for $80. He had taken them out of his 2012 Tacoma and ended up selling the truck and forgot he had them. After I bought my Truck he remember he had them and "gave" them to me for $80!!!

I purchased a used set of Husky liners, and while they do cover the entire footwell area nicely, they are really smooth and slick on some shoes I have. What I did is found a spray can of clear grit and covered the entire mat with it. I'm not sure if the Husky liners start out plastiky and slick or just get that way with age, but the spray grit worked great for me. I paid $80 for both fronts and the rear (which doesn't feel as plastic since it is newer) for my double cab.
The only bad thing is I didn't realize the set I got was from a 05-11, so they don't fit over the floormat locks in the front of my 2013. Small price to pay until I find someone that wants to trade with me. They do keep the carpet clean underneath and the little teeth lock into the carpet well. I have no experience with Weathertechs though.

I have a 2014 TRD Sport AC on order. Sport Gray interior. I want to buy a set of Weathertechs digitals for the front. What color matches the carpet the best? Black or Gray? I had Black liners before in a Silverado but didn't like the way they looked when the grime dried. Thinkin' maybe the gray would be better. This is my first Taco and honestly I don't even know what color the carpet is because the truck hasn't been shipped yet. I haven't had a chance to even look at a Sport, because the dealership has none.

Gray is pretty spot on. I have the gray interior with gray mats. Took me a while to.get used to though. I had the stock black off road mats in mine for a while, then got the gray weathertechs. It took time to get used to. I assume shows less dirt than black too. All depends on if you like that contrast or want matching.

I have the black ones in my gray interior and they definitely stand out. They do show dirt pretty easily also. But since I don't care for gray flooring I'm OK with the contrast.

I recently bought a grey set of these, and I love them. I'd recommend them over the weathertechs.

The color matches the interior pretty well. Ill try to get some pics of them..

On the weathertechs, are you guys buying the mat or the digital fit liner? The liner looks like better protection as it goes up on the sides.

I haven't had an issue with the hook holes in my liners at. Nothing under or through so far. Of course in the winter I don't tread a shit ton of snow in either. I always pull a Dorthy and tap my feet to knock some off. That's not because I'm afraid of it getting under there, but I don't want a ton of water there, and coming back to a nice cold ice cube later on.

I do like the rear Husky liners better though. Because they round the bend and go all the way back in the corner between the seat and door. I haven't had an issue there either, but wish that was covered too. Specialy with kids.
