Drift Lock Bttn.?

What does the Drift lock button do? I've always wondered what it's purpose was...

It's like a target lock except mainly for people where it snows a lot. The drift lock button will aim the front end of your truck dead onto the nearest snow drift.

Definitely don't hit the button.. there's a thread round here somewhere where the guy high centered his truck rolling over a drift he was locked onto.

its not drift lock.....its diff lock. Its for offroading or if you get stuck. It locks the rear axle so you have power to both rear wheels. Great for getting unstuck or offroading. Dont engage it on the pavement though unless you need to and you go really slow. And you should engage it at under 5mph. At least thats what i engage it under if im not stopped.
