Rear lift options with 886x

First post, go easy on me

Previously had 5100s set at 2.5 and ToyTec AAL in rear (non-TSB). It sat slightly high in the rear.

I just installed 886x coils up front and Apex bumper w/winch. Obviously the front sits slightly nose high now. I thought about buying some used TSB springs, but can't seem to find any. What other options are there for gaining another 1/2" or so in the rear without spending a fortune on custom spring packs? (I occasionally haul firewood and do weekend off-roading)

Everyone might bash me for this, but 1/2" blocks would probably be easiest and likely cheapest since you already have an AAL. I have 886's on 5100's set at 0 with a plate bumper and the TSB leaf packs with a 1.5" AAL and still have some bro lean...

Other than blocks the only other option I can think of is the one you mentioned. Aftermarket leaf packs, like Allpro expos or OME DAkars.

Thanks for the info! I looked for some 1/2" blocks for a simple fix, but didn't have much luck. Any idea where I could find some?

At this time, $400 max.
That would pretty much get you some Dakars or the Expo pack. Just need a little more and some shipping.

I didn't even think about needing longer shocks. Looks like the extra 1/2" is gonna cost me quite a bit more than I figured.

Are these the correct springs? I think the stated 2.5" lift should get me where I want to be.

I have no idea on the shock extenders.. as I have no exp with them.
you may have the 5100's that are already extended..

^ that's them, you'll need 4 OEM bushings and new U-bolts as well for a full install. Not sure if shock extensions are available for the 5100s, but you won't break a shock just daily driving.

Thanks for the responses guys. I took a closer look at my rear springs. They lay flat, somewhat arched downward. Only the center and ends of the AAL make contact with them. It appears as though the stock springs are pretty worn. I think dakars are the best bet. How is the ride with them?

Ride is better than stock nice and soft, but progressively more firm for good handling , and handle weight excellent. If your springs are flat.. Definitely worth replacing.

I went with the dakars, great springs. I also bought 5100s with extenders. Long story short I hated the way the extenders looked and they might be fine to some people but for me they were half ass and I wanted it done right. I junked that set up, well sold it and bought the b110 shocks they work great. You have to modify your bumpstops but a longer shock for sure.
With the dakars, stock length 5100s and extenders the shocks were maxed out .

Wheelers states the springs are 2.75" over stock. (Part # CS047)
Toyteclifts states the springs are 2.5" over stock. (Part # CS047R)
Is there a difference between the two part numbers?

I want to make sure it won't sit higher than I'm looking for before spending the money. Raceline08 and Beavis0076, do you have any side pics of your trucks? If not, how does it sit with 3" up front and the dakars in the rear? (level, slight rake, etc)

The Dakars will , on average get you 2.5" of lift over stock on a DC

If you current leafs are really flat it may seem like more
