There are lots of complaints in here about it. Mine IMO isn't excessive.

I have the same thing going on with my access cab too. I just figured it was a by-product of the design. Turning my radio up is the solution I use :)

I just bought 08 and it has a ton of "road noise" Not so much from the access cab more or less all around. I guess it's just part of having paper thin doors and floor boards

I never really noticed it before the other day. It was windy as hell, blowing across the highway. When the wind gusted there was quite a bit of noise from back there.

It's normal for the Access Cabs. I would think it's mostly due to the rear doors (suicide?) and the absence of the center door frame that divides it from the front doors (like the Double Cabs). It doesn't have a solid "thunk" when closing to begin with.

I had this problem on mine. I put silicone caulk around the access door window, and the wind noise went away. I'm not saying yours has the same problem, but it could have...

I really don't notice that issue. I also don't drive very fast normally no more than 70mph.

On days with really strong cross winds I hear it a bit more, but nothing horribly annoying.

my access cab gets some road noise, but I think it's mostly from the tires and not from the door design. imo

This is my main complaint about my truck but I can live with it. It sounds like the upper weatherstripping on the rear doors.

My 09 v6: noisy engine but very little wind noise. 07 4cyl: much quieter engine but lots more wind noise

My 13 access cab was the same way, but it sounded like it was mainly coming from the passenger side. Did a little searching around the interior and found a drain hole, with no plug, under the passenger seat. Got a plug for it from the dealership and road noise is gone. Just a thought.

Certainly not the most quiet cab around.

I have noticed that when a loud bike or truck goes by I'll jump sometimes, even though I'll have the stereo up.

Almost like someone is driving in the cab?

    The noise infiltrates the cab.

^^^ when a big rig passes by going the opposite direction on a 2-lane it makes a VERY loud whooooooosh.

Oh well. Still less road noise than my civic had.

Add me to the list. My 2013 exhibits the same sound of strong cross wind coming in near the tops of the access doors.

Have to wonder exactly where the opening is that allows the wind to blow into the door and thus produce the sound.

I guess I can live with it, but would like to fix if possible. Will look closely around the entire access doors to see if I can find any openings.
