So I have wanted a Satoshi since I became a member of this site. Well, I read enough builds that I thought I could tackle it. This will be short and simple, partly because I did a thin lip so I could put lights behind it soon and partly because I did not take a lot of pictures.

This is what I started with today. Stock grill.

Using a dremel, I cut out the inside part that I no longer wanted and measured 1/2" around, shaved it and filed it smooth.

Got the mesh measured and started securing it to the plastic in two different ways. I used left over pieces to make angles and secured it with screws into the plastic and where I couldn't do that I used zip ties.

I attached my FJ emblem I bought from a fellow member and painted the inside of the truck frame and radiator with high temp flat black. I really like the way it turned out and think it will be even sharper once I get the lights behind it.

I did the triangles also, all with zip tie attachments.

Not too bad for my first major mod. Had a buddy with lots of experience helping with ideas so everything went well!

    Enjoy.
