I currently have an All-Pro bumper with a daystar leveling kit and 1.5 toytec AAL. Now that I'm done school I wanted to upgrade my suspension but I'm debating whether or not I should keep my bumper on (it's pretty rusted already) or put the stock bumper back on.

BUT if I put the stock bumper back on, what do I have for suspension options? I'm running 285/75/R16 Toyos with XD Enduro rims and wanted to keep this setup. I don't really think I need to keep the bumper on because I'm not a hardcore wheeler. I bought the bumper because I needed to replace my stock one after an accident and thought I was going to get an LT kit eventually, but now that the time has come, I don't think I can drop all that money if I'm not going to use it right, and just settle for a mid travel setup and save some money.

What should I do? Is it a feasible idea to put some Total Chaos UCA's with Fox 2.5 Coilovers and just trim the fender a bit? Anybody have any experience with this? How much trimming is involved? Just a feeler thread to get some ideas flowing. I want to have a nice quality ride and don't really want to just put a 6 inch pro comp lift on an call it a day. Y'know?

Being unsure what to do, I'm open to any ideas you guys might have.

After looking around a bit more, I've seen a 3" DB lift with KING mid travel suspension and TC UCA's? What are peoples' thoughts on this setup?

If you won't use it why even get a MT set up? Paint your current bumper and save your money. Consider 5100 with 885 coils.

Well I wheel occasionally but not enough to justify spending money on an LT setup and like new leafs and everything. I like the idea of performance suspension because I do alot of moderate offroading for camping kayaking ski touring sledding that kind of stuff because my suspension is getting pretty worn out.

I wheel the shit out of my truck. I don't have coilovers. You don't need them for what you described. 5100 and 885 will do you fine, trust me.

Anybody else have any other suggestions? Trying to keep my options open.
