Thinking about getting some of the FJ wheels for my black 08 DCSB. Anyone running these wheels? I am going to do a lift and tires but don't want the black on black. Thinking of these in the machined finish.

Just noticed that these wheels conflict with the TRD big brake kit. I picked up my 08 used. It is a TRD sport. How do I know if I have the big brake kit. Is it a TRD standard?

The big brake kit was not standard... its something that's added on. The deal is the stick on wheel weights on the inside will hit the rotor and/or caliper. There's a TSB for that specific problem.

So, as long as I don't have the big brake kit, I will be ok with these wheels? I just think they would look sick on a blacked out DCSB

They fit right on my truck. You can use the stock lug nuts or if you order them new they come with new lug nuts in the corner of the box and center caps.

Measure the rotors, if they are 1.25" thick, you have the BBK installed. Most people opt out of the BBK though, it's way overpriced for what you get. Also I've run the silvers on my super white and it looked good, had them coated black with 20% gloss and looks tits now. Good luck.

Those look great guys. I'm thinking the silver ones on mine. The anthracite ones are pretty sweet but they're close enough to the black ones to defeat my purpose of trying to not have a solid black truck.

silver12 stated you could use the same lug nuts. when I swapped out my 16's for the FJ 17's my lug nuts from the standard 16 aluminum were to short but the seller gave me the right ones. I paid $600 for new truck take offs, wheels and tires. ran them in summer and kept my mud tires for hunting season.
