In the summer its humid enough to fill a gallon in no time but difficult to get with out it having it get contaminated as it flows out. The truck has 100K on the ODO so its pretty much filled with dirt in every nook and cranny. During the dry season up in the mountains i change the air filter every 5K. If not, dust starts to pass through. That is with a Toyota filter.

Either way, like was mentioned before, I am probably ok with it using tap water. The instructions say just add water and no mention about what type of water to use or even to worry about using hard water. Its the toyota stuff, youd figure they would say something about not using hard water, but then again i wouldn't be surprised.
