bed cleats install ?

I'm sure I'm over looking something but I can't figure out how to get the bed cleats to slide into the front bed rail! every time I try to slide them in the bed cleats at an extreme angle because its hitting the side of the truck bed which keeps it from sliding into the rail , am I going to have to take the rail system off and slide them in or am I not doing something right?

 

Loosen them off all the way , put them in the T slot and rotate 90 degrees

 

You're doing it wrong...you're supposed to put them straight in, not slide them in at the ends.

 

Your over thinking it. Their real easy . Try again, no need to take the rails off the truck.

Be sure to push in the knob, it's spring loaded too

 

Yeah I forgot to mention this ^^

Loosen them , push in the centre exposing the T nut , insert into the rail and turn the cleat 90 degrees
