Hi All! I currently have a 2012 DC tacoma. I was considering lifting about 3 inches but then my warranty will be voided. So now I was just thinking about getting bigger A/T tries and new 17"Wheels. I got a few prices from different places one company recommded me to do a leveling. Would I even see the difference? Will it void my warranty?

You will notice if its leveled. Especially if you go with an AAL in the rear. Something minor like 1.5". Makes a difference. That's all I have on mine with the 2.5" up front to level using 5100's.
Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure your warranty will be alright. Don't quote me, but I thought they would allow up to 3". Maybe soneone else will chime in on that.

I have the TSB springs in the rear, and the Bilstein 5100's in the front on the 1.5 setting. There will be a noticeable difference on looks, personally, I prefer a levelled truck.

Neither a levelling kit or traditional life will void your warranty by itself. If has to be proven that the added aftermarket components caused a failure to void any warranty claims.

Thank you everyone for all your help. This guys says it will raise my front 2" and back will stay the same. I am getting a quote for new wheels, tires, and level for about $1800. Me being a female I don't want them to think they can just rip me off. Moondeath was does AAL in the rear mean?

So your saying just getting a leveling with 1-1/2" increase to the front I will see a big difference? I talk to the place where I may get it down he says I don't need the leaf in the back unless I plan on hauling things. And its a waste of money. Won't really increase the height on the back? What do I do?

You will notice a difference. If you want the rear lifted a leaf spring is the way to go. Leaf springs will raise the rear and increase capacity depending on which ones you get. You can choose, within reason, what height you want. The leaf springs are only about $80 or so plus install price.

If you do a add a leaf just make sure you get a long add a leaf versus a short one. A longer one will give you a smoother rider versus a short one that will give you a harsher one. Ideally the best thing would be to just add the icon 3 leaf pack or wheelers pack for a smoother ride and just do the 5100's up front

Dealer can't void your warranty on an aftermarket part unless that part is responsible for the malfunction. Its against the law. Magnusson law I think is the name. Just be prepared that you may have to defend your case.
