I'm considering buying these two for my truck and just wondering if any of you had opinions on these?
What are the ups and downs?
I'm considering getting the spidertrax wheel spacers and wanted to know what backspacing meant.
I also want to get the short shifter from URD but wanted to know if there were any disadvantages.
    Thanks ahead of time.
Which would you guys get first?

For the Spidertrax I have not heard any negative things about it nor have I with the URD Shortshift

Is there any sacrificing the turning radius? What does backspacing mean? I've heard complaints about that with spacers.

Since your wheels have more "wheel" to them it would make a better radius.

Backspacing is the distance from the inside wheel mounting surface to the inside edge of the rim. If you had the wheel off, and could put a straightedge on the back side of the wheel, the distance from that straightedge to the wheel mounting surface would be the backspacing. The smaller the backspacing, the further out the wheel is. How much the backspacing will be changed is the thickness of the spacers you use.

IMO, the spacers are not going to affect turn radius where you would notice.

    Thank you.
I can't see any disadvantages to that.
I just wanted a bit of a beefier look. The only disadvantages I could think of is kicking up rocks when I wheel, which is not much, but I do go.
An advantage I can see is a wider base, which would slightly prevent rolling??? It's just a thought.
Would adding wheel spacers mess up alignment, camber, tow?
What would you get first, shortshifter or wheel spacers?
