Roof Rack Gap

    I installed my new OEM roof rack last night and tried to refit this morning. I tried bending the front brakets a litt bit and still have a 1/8 inch gap on both fronts. I tried bending a little more and the plastic clip will not connect with the braket any closer than what it is.
    Any suggestions?

    Last bump then I'll try silicone or something to make sure no water gets in until I figure something else out.

    No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
    I don’t have a roof rack. but you are not the only person. i have seen a few other posts about the same thing.

    Only think i can think of is try the search up by the top right.

    It should not leak even with the gap. Lots of folks on here have lost their rubber trim with no leaks.

    I did the same thing when I first installed my oem roof rack, .....nothing you can do cause of the clay washers fill in the gap when you screw in the screws

    This came up in this thread too... I posted some pics of the gap I ended up with. Sounds the same as yours.
