An 8 hour monsoon came and dumped on my yota.

*Accidentally left my all windows down overnight and didn't realize it.

    Sad sad day.

Hope a sunny day today will help dry it out. Got all i could with towels and shop vac.

    :-(

You might do a light spray with Lysol disinfectant to inhibit mold/mildew as the truck dries out.

There are products sold to help dry out wet basements, basically a bag of chemicals that absorbs water. It's caustic, so I wouldn't let it sit on or possibly drip on anything in your truck, but I could see putting it in a plastic storage box and letting it sit in the truck at night. Some of those products, you then bake/heat them in the oven to dry the chemical out, and then put it back in.

I did this once on my 11. Sucks, but my weather techs caught most of the water going to the floorboard, and the seats dried fine. DampRid will get the moisture out and prevent odors...it can be found at publix or whatever local grocery store you go to. Worst case scenario, go get the interior cleaned and shampooed at the local car wash.

Hopefully the floorboard isn't soaking wet...you might have to devote a day to removing the interior and drying everything.

That would give me the perfect excuse to ditch the stock cloth interior and wrap em in leather. :D

i had a gallon jug burst in my truck last summer. remove your door sills and the carpet can be picked up enough to run a shop vac underneath it. i just left it running for about an hour with the hose shoved in there
