09 tacoma Ignition shuts off while driving (HELP)

Hey guys I really need someones help. I have a 2009 tacoma v6 and yesterday my cars ignition just shut off out of no where. I think it might be the 5100rs scytek alarm system. I have had it for about 3 years now n had no problem. So the the problem is for the past couple mornings ignition shuts off while im driving sometimes it shuts off and than turn back on again within seconds. But theres times it just wont start unless I take the battery ground off.. its really dangerous because today I was on the freeway loop and it just shuts off and im lucky I didnt have my 5 month old son with me. So if anyone else thinks its the alarm cutting the ignition I will be disabling the alarm.. asap cause I really dont want this happening with my son in the car.. thanks in advance.

 

Disable it and see how she does. I have had a alarm mess me up by not wanting to start.

 

its was the alarm.. unplugged the ignition wire n the car stop shutting off.. thanks for the advice bro.. Just wondering what alarm do you have now jetman?

 

I once knew a guy that had so many keys on his key chain that every time he made a left hand turn, the keys would swing to the outside and turn the ignition off. After changing the ignition the dealer discovered his issue haha

 

thats funny.. haha.. he must of felt kinda dumb after.. cause if that was me i would of felt dumb also.. But in this case i only have one house key, one truck key and my alarm so no issue there.. lol.. If you dont mind me asking (EDJY) what alarm system do you have cause im thinking of buying a new one or just calling scytek for a new alarm brain

 

I just got my new truck so I dont have one yet. The alarm that caused the no start was on the wifes Highlander.

 

My wife has been having intermittent problems with the engine shutting off for over a month now.
Repair shop could not find the problem because it would not ever fail for them.

Today it happened again but this time I could look at it.
I found a bad connection in the engine compartment. On the passanger side fender, behind the wiper fluid container, there were two wire (both white w/black stripe) ground connection that were loose.
I'm not sure yet what it goes to because I just found it about 1 hour ago.
I could kill the engine each time by just moving this wire connection....
