I want to do a 4x2 to 4x4 conversion. I have a list of parts, but I want to know if there are any differences in the frames. If the 4x4 frame is heavier than the 4x2 or shorter or longer. Any information helps! Thanks!

I'd be worried about the massive expense. Unless you have some kind of emotional attachment to your truck like it was left to you by a loved one that passed, I would consider trading it in for a 4x4. If you cant bear to part with it and insist on a conversion, I would SAS that thing while you have it apart.
