Lots of posts on here about stuff getting stolen, I don't even lock my vehicles and the keys are usually in them when they are at home. I can't remember the last time we locked the house when we left. Sad state of affairs.

Just a few little things. It's my DD
Same here. I'm glad I live where I do. I never lock anything. Keys in truck.

 Just be careful. The small print on many insurance policies state they do not have to pay off a stolen vehicle or damage to a stolen/recovered vehicle if the keys were left in the vehicle.

Dylan, that just sucks. I wonder if it was a bodyshop looking for "cheap" OEM repair parts?

That definitely is low life. I've already got a noticeable dent in my bumber, so maybe I'll just leave it that way and hopefully they will bypass me.

That's messed up. I have heard of stealing tailgates catalytic converters, but not bumpers and receivers. That's a new one. Sounds like it time to upgrade the bumper to plate one and not another oem bumper. Hope they catch the bastards and rip them a new one.

Sorry to hear about that bro. I was thinking it was local (as in Cheshire/Pittsfield) at first and I was surprised that it would happen around here. Then I noticed you said UMass. Still sucks man. :/

That sucks. I had the catalytic converter of my 92 yota stolen in my office parking lot. Sawzalled it off, probably took no more than 30 seconds. I started it up, and it sounded like a damn drag car. Good times. People are just d-bags. i hope you find the guys who did it, but in all reality the chances are slim.

Did they use tools to remove it, or just sawzall the bolts off and run with it?

It has a fist sized dent in the drivers side corner from where my dad backed into me. A local guy put a steel plate bumper on his 2012 and gave me a heck of a deal on his chrome bumper, and he gave me the receiver just to get rid of it. I might fix it and put it back on and keep the chrome one, my brother also has a 2nd gen so I figure one of us will eventually need it. Lol

Sent you a pm with my number. I've got a bumper off my 07 that insurance paid to replace with new. Has a little barely noticeable ding on it. I just got one from the junkyard and fixed my dent/scratch myself. Think I have bolts off the junkyard bumper too if you need them. Dont have a reciever but i can at least hook you up with a bumper! Shoot me a text I'll sell it real cheap as it's just in the way and I'm sick of tripping over it!

I had a thought about this when I was driving home today. They left your license plate. Assuming you haven't washed it off yet... how many fingerprints do you think have been left on the plate since you last washed your truck? Did the police dust it?
