My 2007 Tacoma doesn't have vsc and every time I add the pro comp 6" lift to my cart at 4wheelparts.com it says the 6" lift will not fit my ride...it says that the kit is for vsc.

I don't see why it wouldn't work on my truck...any suggestions? Thanks

please no bashing my lift decision

They get the job done. Small issues here and there no biggies though. When I 4 wheel I go as hard as I can and I havent had any issues. I dont have vsc on my 06.

How hard do you road? Iv'e had a lot of people on here knock on my procomp and say it won't handle shit on the trails. Haven't really had a chance to really test it out.

You dont get the travel or clearance. Id say have to say on a 1 to 10 I hit 7 90% of the time. No rock crawling type but Ive beat the shit outta it. Hit hard enough to wrench the rack on my steering without doing damage to any lift components. Not saying it compares to true 4x4 lifts but it gets me around.

Its not necessarily the lift that gets you places. Ive been wheeling with people who clearly have better setups and kept up to them.

Yeah I've noticed that people do bash the 6" lift

I'm using some of the components of the pro comp lift and some bilstein/eibach parts. My truck is already lifted 3"s and I'm not that happy with it so I'm going to go about 7-8"s haha

Interesting. They used to have two separate 6" lift kits, one for VSC equipped trucks, one for non-VSC equipped trucks. I wonder what the exact difference is and why they stopped offering the older one.
