Camper Mosquito Netting Ideas?

Wish summer coming I'm already getting flashbacks of mosquito's & no-see-ems. Anyone have a sweet way to keep your camper top open and rig mosquito netting?

I have a bed in the back and screened windoors, but the opening isn't enough for ventilation on hot nights, so open goes the topper and in come the mosquito's...

I picked up an army-surplus netting for cots that I used once, but it was a pain to cram all the little holes closed to keep those buggers out.. THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY!

they have some 3" industrial velcro at lowes or HD I was thinking about using the velcro, open back velcro screen in wind blows in happy happy happy

 

I do have velcro curtains on now (carpeted topper) and they work great for privacy, so why not on the back too? Yeah, i guess I could tuck the bottom of the netting under the mattress or just shut the tailgate in it and climb-in through the windoors.... hummmm, going to experiment what that idea!

What about sewing some rare earth magnets around the edges of the net?

 

The topper is fiberglass, so velcro is the only way I can think of to attach things to the inside... There's got to be so camper sleepers out there that can't stand mosquito's too!

 

Ahh, I see. Attach the netting permanently to the top of the hatch (roll it up when not using it), let it drape down with velcro holding it in place on the sides, then use the magnets to hold the bottom to the tailgate. With a bit more creativity, you could make it work with the tailgate either up or down.

 

i like it. I think i'll throw some mosquito curtains over the win-door openings and the removable front slider window too so I can get an awesome breeze blowing through. Maybe sew a cinch-down type closure on them instead of curtains.
