Yes I do go offroading and have fun with road imperfections. Here are a couple of pics when I rotated my tires.

awesome, thanks for the pics

did you notice having to change the air pressure (for normal driving) when you put the cradles on? it looks like they compress the bags about an inch more than stock at rest.

Not really, but I do have a canopy on which does affect the weight some.

The cradles don't "compress" the bags, but they are about an inch deep so if you look from the side the bag will look shorter than it does when bolted to the stock flat plate....one of those "optical illusion" type things.

For those of you that have installed the Ride Rite air bags without the cradles. Using the recommended 5 PSI min for highway use with no additional load, how has is changed the ride of the truck?

I would bet that is a statement to release Firestone from any liability if an issue did arise. I know lots of folks who have run the combo and have not heard of any issues, and also Daystar is a reputable company and I would think that they tested things fairly well to cover their own ass before they produced the product.

    Hey guys,
looks like im forced to do air bag on my rears. Going to need it soon. Anyone have a used set they dont want anymore?

I have 3 options, buy new, buy used tho doubt anyone taking theirs off,
or actually contemplated fabricating my own mount and buying the airbag kit, actualy fairly inexpensive.

will have my 620lb atv on the bed and tow my buddies short trailer with his 700lb atv. my truck is already low with my atv alone.

Any cheaper airbag options out there??? thanks much

Installed my bags yesterday. The four bolts connecting the top bracket were a pain. My rear sag is gone and it rides nice.

    Agreed...love the bags!

I had Timbrens and a AAL. Timbrens did fine but still sagged a little with my ATV and they would sometimes have a weird bounce if you had enough weight to lower the truck but not enough to rest on the Timbrens. I had a reputable AAL on a older Taco and could not stand them. The airbags are hands down the best for non lifted applications. In regard to you ATV I would honestly look into a trailer. I didn't like carrying my grizzly 450 in my dcsb at all because I felt the gate was not remotely strong enough. Just my .02 though...

Actually fabricated a thing that takes some of the weight of the atv rear and hold it so the tailgate doesnt take much weight. Works fine, but since i will be pulling buddies trailer, ill come up with another way to support it while having a hitch ball for trailer. i might be too lazy to fabritare my own airbag mounts n buy the firestone kit instaed.

jordan, ur outlander is my buddys dream atv, told em he cant get it, i wouldnt be able to keep up !

Ya I love the bike. I made up sort of the same thing the take the weight off while loading. If you scan through my pictures it'd in there. Still trying to mod it for different things but it works

So is everyone who has an AAL using the cradles? Trying to decide if I should be dropping more cash on them

Quick question...I have a 3inch lift infront with a 1.25 block in the back. If I removed the blocks and installed the bags, would the bags give me atleast 1.25-1.75 inch of lift in the rear? I got the TSB leafs (4 leaf canada taco) Thanks in advance!
