I let all the air out of mine when I wheel, I have driven the truck up a black diamond run and the bags did fine. These bags are built pretty tough and it didn't seem to limit me in the setup I have, I have billie 5100's and a 2 inch add a leaf on my truck.

yea thats what i thought it looked like too according to all the pictures on here. but the part numbers the same so we'll see. Amazons pretty good about returns of items that arent right. in my experience at least.

The Firestone's have a remote compressor kit that can be activated from the cab. To be honest, it's not worth it. I had the bags installed (valves in the cubbies-if you wheel, do not put the valves somewhere they'll be torn off). I'd fill them up and be good for some time. Remember, you need to keep at least 10psi in the bags at all times.

I say it's not worth it only because you usually fill them up once or twice on a trip and otherwise ignore them.

There are a couple of places that are likely candidates for leaks. As someone mentioned, the valve stems and then the right angle fitting on top of the bag. I used Teflon tape on that. The barbs are also a possibility but if you squared the ends of the tube and pushed them all the way on, they shouldn't be a problem-there is a tiny chance the tube could split but not very likely.

I went out and purchased a "T" connector and only have one fill valve. Have it located on the trailer light socket frame.

So you have not had the rubber pinch doing that?

I always keep at least 5 psi

According to the instructions that came with the kit, you should never run the bags completely empty. It states that you should maintain at least 5psi in the bags; just wanted to let you know :)

Some pics from this weekend: 2 Yamaha Blasters (800lbs) and 6x10 utility trailer (1200lbs).

    Ride rite's did their job!

Inflated each side to about 25psi; completely eliminated rear sagging! :)

had timbrens on my 07, and i have to say, i was gonna get the firestones, but the guy at the upfitter place said he would be afraid if a bag went out somewhere while towing. the 'brens weren't that impressive, and at the time, were 50 cheaper then bags.

seeing this thread, i think this time around i'll go w/ airbags for sure. great pictures too, thank you

Can someone post a link to the ride rite air bag from Amazon? I've searched and only finding a smooth cylinder air bag. Not the bellow style like I see in this post. And the link posted previously in this post doesn't work for me.
