I am worried that there is something wrong with the transmission/ drive line area. Every time I hit a bump I can feel something hit from under. It feels like someone is punching under the truck against my feet. Drives fine, but this has never happened and worries me. It happens over bumps and turning left and right. It feels like something is loose and wobbly. Anyone know what it could be?

I have many possible fixes to this, but I cant seem to narrow it down. Under the truck everything looks fine. Please ask me questions so I can possibly get help on narrowing down my problem.

On a side note I have had popping noises from the suspension for a while now ( I know what they are) but it has never had this "hitting from under problem".

If it is only when you hit a bump, there has to be something loose somewhere... If you can feel it under your feet it is likely somewhere in that area too. Not sure what else to tell you though...

I thought it could maybe be the y pipe? But I dont see how that possible if its on all the mounts.

My y-pipe rattles against my skid plate. Those are just rubber mounts. They have some flexibility to them. I doubt it is the y-pipe though. Too light to make much of a bang.

Exactly. Looking under doesnt really help me that much. I dont know what to look for because it looks normal under the truck.

Actually I tightened down the passenger side one more because it could of been torqued down alot more. Now I need to try the other side behind the skid plate.

I personally believe it is the control arms. I bet everything is about shot. I took a right corner and thought my wheel was about to fall off or something.

I dont have the money to fix the problems. I have enough money pretty much for tie rods and lbj. I can do the tie rods on my own, but not the lbj or even the entire LCA then alignment after. Im trying to tell my dad but he doesnt really care, so I guess he will have to wait till the suspension fails and I give him a phone call that my truck is sitting on 3 wheels in the middle of the street.

If you are driving over 35mph more likely upside down in the median/ditch... LBJ failures are quite possibly worse than blowouts...

I am going to try to convince my dad to help me out. He doesnt really care about car maintenance that much. He doesnt know anything about a car other than an oil change. It is sad and im not really sure how I even learned all this stuff on my own with no help from anyone (In real life at least). On the other hand the internet has done me well.
