So this transmission mount replacement does what??

I recently went in to my local dealer about the front diff vibration/sounds. They said according to Toyota they had to replace this..tsb/other issue related transmission mount before they go any farther..hmm said it was covered under drivetrain warranty tho. what say you all? Regarding his response and what is the difference in the two mounts. Any stories that might shine a light on where Toyotas going with this. All insight and stories are greatly appreciated.

 

Different height, so it changes driveline angle to TRY and cure vibes.

 

IIRC it gets rid of the 15-25 MPH vibes on stock trucks

It doesn't fix anyone's diff issues. Its a problem with Toyota not coming up with a real fix. You need to pursue this issue with Toyota Claims, and FORCE them to fix our trucks. They are telling everyone this is "not abnormal, or excessive."
