    Anyone in Tacoland know if the auto trans in the 09 2.7 Taco is ths same model as the 4 liter v6 tranny. Ive never driven a 6 cyl model so I dont know if its a 4 or 5 speed.

    The 2.7L auto is a 4spd and the 4.0L auto is a 5spd. I know the 5spd is the A750F and I think the 2.7L uses the same tranny as the 1st gen which is the A340F.

    Yes, The FSM shows for the 2005 - 2006 as an A340E in the 2.7L model.

    Cool. Thanks. Just FYI, E is the 2wd version and F is the 4x4 version.
