Are they supposed to be covered legally in MA?

You know, I'm not really sure. The guy I bought my pair from said that, but he was in RI so I really couldn't say.

My brother in law's nephew is an officer, I should ask him next time I see him.

If you ask, don't tell me the answer. That way when asked, I don't have to lie

Hell.... Down here they don't enforce much of anything. There are people running around town with tinted windshields and not getting tickets. I figure if they got stopped for speeding or something they might then but they aren't stopping them just for that. Not long ago I got stopped in Utah for having window tint on my side windows. They are legal here (35%) but too dark there. The officer came up to the truck and apologized and said he didn't notice my license plate before he stopped me. He put a meter on my side window and said they were too dark but since I was out of state he said no big deal. He was a really cool guy.

Well technically here in BC they need to be covered by a non-opaque :)(LightForce!) cover when not in use. So if you are driving around during the day with them uncovered you may get the wrong attention.

Also you are only allowed two additional driving lights in our province, so if I'm on the highway I only run the inside pair. Offroad they are all on.

Or better yet, if it's a good answer I'll tell you if not I won't, how is that?

A friend of mine went through that, she lived in Florida and moved up here but still had the FL plates. She had family there so she kept them on that car b/c of the tint.
