That denso filter looks like the filter on my Suzuki z400, just a lot bigger.

I did until I found the OEM filters for $4.

I've still got a couple of P1's to go on the wife's Rav4, but I'm on my case of Toyota filters for the Taco and already have 10 Toyota filters on hand for the Rav.

There's an eBay seller who does a box of 10 shipped for $40.
Personally, I go with Titus-Will and get 20 for $88 shipped.
10 for the Taco and 10 for the Rav4.

Again, where? Do you have a link? I see no Toyota filters for $4 shipped or I wouldn't have asked the first time.

I try to always use OEM on all my vehicles... usually best filters.

Of these links, only the first one and third one are $4 shipped per filter. The rest end up being closer to $5 shipped which is the actual cost. For some reason those two links didn't come up in the searches I did so thanks for the link.

I found a case and a half of the OEM 90915-20004 filters and snagged it a while back. I've been using them every 3k for the last 13k miles i have on my truck. I'll be switching to the OEM YZZ when I run out. If you change your oil often you should not have to worry about trying to find a filter better than OEM... is 3k a bit too often? maybe, but i like the peace of mind and it's dusty here in the summer. Takes me 15 min to do a change plus a beer in the middle waiting for all the oil to drain :D

I'd suggest noting which motor you have in your profile. For the V6, I've seen the Fram PH8 (a very popular filter) used-that doesn't mean I'm suggesting the Fram. It's just a reference for cross-over info and a larger filter than the oe Toyota, MORE filtering area (as long as the size doesn't interfere with anything) is always a good thing! If you have the 2TRFE (4 cyl vvt motor) I use the Purolator Gold 20195, it's about 50% more filter, fits fine in my 2wd Tacoma (poss issues w/the 4x4 for remove/ install-but a very good choice. I've used this w/Amsoil Extended Life for 5 years, had the used oil tested twice and have had no problems with anything. Use an Ester based oil, a high quality oil and air filter and run at least one "used oil anaylisis" (to check for metals or silica/sand) to see where your at. Good Luck
