Had some free time today so I pulled the badges and stickers off of my black 2013 DC sport. The badges were easy. Just a little bit of heat and some 25lb fishing line. The adhesive rolled right up and was no problem to remove. The stickers on the other hand, dear god the stickers. I probably went through half of a large can of WD-40, an hour with the heat gun and all of my shop rags. The great equalizer ended up being a Teflon dish scraper that I stole from the kitchen.
How did you guys go about getting that darn thing off?
While I was pulling the badge, I started hearing what sounded like the fuel pump kicking on even though my truck was shutdown and had been for some time. This got me curious so I went hunting for the source of the noise. Turns out the Tacomas have that same Evap vacuum pump feature that the 4runners have. I had no idea and thought that my truck had lost its mind and was trying to pressurize the fuel system, but my local dealer talked me down. Just thought I would share that little bit of info.

I did mine right after it was back from the repair shop. Came I in one piece and didn't leave any residue. The other side was a pain in the ass though since it had been on the truck for about 5 years. It just kept tearing into little pieces. The irritating thing was that I told the body shop not to put the new one on because I was gonna take them all off anyways.
