Weathertech digitals front and rear, TRD exhaust, Coverking dash mat, Oem Tacoma bedmat, Better Built tool box, bed extender, Toytec 1 1/2" AAL, Bilsteins front and rears, fronts set at .85, K&N filter, aluminum skid plate, EGR vent shades, locking tailgate handle, TRD emblems, Cal Trend seat covers front and back.
I have a sort of a hypothetical question, when buying or having to buy a half-shaft, how good is the Cardone brand? I understand the majority would go with the Oem, but Toyota wants almost 500 with tax while the Cardone brand is under $100 including tax. It is not a remanufactured item It's new. Why the big discrepancy? Thanks to all the forum members for their opinions.

first off, the fact that you even have to ask that with such a new truck sucks.

from what I understand, if you do a lot of 4x4ing in rough terrain, you want the best. otherwise, the cheaper ones are fine and dandy.

if your just worried about a boot, I just changed mine and it worked out okay

I believe that AutoZone sells one that has a lifetime warranty for less than $100. I would buy 1 or 2 from autozone and if it breaks just get a new one for free.

And if it breaks 40 miles from the highway?
