    Stock...for now
I am the same age and if I did this to my truck I would tell him. But my truck is worth about half of what yours is worth and it would be a big deal but not as bad as a brand new $30,000+ truck. Good luck.

A lot of hating, but I really do appreciate all the feedback. I know ya'll are older but ya'll just don't understand how strict my dad is. I'm not spoiled either, I got the truck because my dad pays almost nothing for me to go to school. I haven't been able to get the inclinometer yet, a lot of studying for finals. Oh yeah, I don't have a smartphone either.

You are a lucky kid my dad bought me nothing. My first car was a 200 dollar 63 Chevy belair. I loved that old heap fixed it up and never abused it cause 200 bucks was a lot of change back then. My theroy is if you cant pay dont play. But either way I still want to hear the outcome of the damage.

    This.

Listen man you gotta be truthful especially with your family.

From what I've read about posts I honestly don't believe your op about 20-25 mph hitting a bump and other things you have said.

Why wait? Tell him now. I think you have one hell of a dad that would spend that much on a truck for his kid. The very least you owe him is the truth. You will find out that this little lie will continue to grow and it will be easier to lie next time that you are uncomfortable with the truth...

There was lots of good advise given in this thread. You could have taken it or left it.

I see you have chosen to leave it. I am sorry.

    Lots of stuff
tell the truth. A man is only as good as his word. from your pictures it looks like you are parked right side low which will give the appearance of right top of wheel sticking out.

edit: and if you were as worried as you seem to be you would be all over the info given to you.
