So i traded my 08 to a 13 and i kept the Camper Shell, that was two months ago and finally decided to get it color matched. i have been doing research but haven't gotten no joy :( However, i just noticed the dealership didn't give me the harness from the taillight that connects to the camper.:( Does any one where i can find the wire harness, that goes from the caps break light to connect it to the taillight? Its has four connections and its like a white connector. :(

Cut and splice your own. Very easy and only takes a couple minutes. Go to an auto parts store and pick out whichever quick connectors you like. My shell wiring is spliced into my tail light wiring, I'm willing to bed your old Tacoma was the same way.

Splicing your own wires requires some degree of comfort with electrical work. You would either need someone with the same year as you to tell you which color the wires are that you'd need to splice or get a test light to determine which wires are which. I would recommend soldering your connection and heat shrinking to protect the splice (a dealer will likely use T-taps or vampire clips since they are easier). If you find someone in your area who can solder wires, this really is an easy job.

    ^this is another option.

For just the brake light, you can tap into the truck's wiring and not use a fuse. The shell's wiring would be protected by the truck's brake light fuse.

You wouldn't tap the same wire for a work light and a brake light. I have a work light in my shell also and tapped off of the tail light (marker light) circuit. That means my shell's dome light only works when the parking lights are on (great for me, can't forget to turn them off and end up with a dead battery). For just the small bulb, the stock wiring handles it just fine.

Generally, if you're pulling off a truck's existing fuse-protected circuit, you would not need to add a second fuse. If you feel the load is high enough to require a second fuse, you shouldn't be pulling power from an existing circuit.

I've got an older truck, otherwise I would tell you which color the wires are for you to splice (I also don't have LED tail lights like the newer ones). It's not bad, if you can splice wires, it's a quick and easy project.
