No--no--no! Just fix it! Takes maybe 30 minutes, zero dollars and the only real skill you need is being able to use a soldering iron.

Threads here and on Toyota Nation show you the step-by-step process. No problemo.

Well, yippee-ki-yay! You are very welcome. Glad to be of help!

I fixed mine about 3-4 months ago and it's still working fine. Some folks say that eventually the resistor pops off again after a few years & then you just re-solder it again.
