I've ordered an OEM roof rack that will primarily be used to haul surfboards. I need suggestions on the best way to attach my boards to the rack.

Has anyone used the Thule "Double-decker Surfboard" carrier or the "Board-locker" attachment made by Inno? Does anyone know if they will even fit on the OEM rack? I really like the fact that these two attachments allow you to lock down your boards deterring thief.

Info on these options or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, pictures of Tacomas hauling boards on OEM racks would be great!

Come on, I know somebody on here surfs and hauls their boards on an OEM roof rack!

Thanks for the response, Pahala. Does your Thule carrier lock and could you possibly snap a picture of your set up the next time you've got it loaded up and post it?

I also have the Thule SUP carrier on my truck. It's mounted on the Thule 422XT Xsporter. I find that it is easier to load the boards (especialy for my wife)then it would be on the OME Rack. But our boards are 12'6 SUPs

Thanks for the info guys. I ended up ordering the Thule Double-decker Surfboard carrier from Auto Anything. I'll update whenever I get everything installed.
