Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.

It'll ride in the bed, just can't close the gate. I was thinking about a bed extender for added safety, but I usually just tie down very securely through the rear of the frame, across the back tires and down to the bedhooks. I also use two cleats about 18" back from the cab through the front bumper so it kind pulls rearward to keep the bumper off the glass. I hauled it this way about 300 miles once without issues.

...all that said, I prefer to use a trailer if available. By the time you put your ramps underneath the grizz, there's prettymuch 0 room for anything else back there.

BTW, congrats and I am envious of the fuel injection on the 700s. :)

It's been a while since I first started this thread, but just wanted to give an update. With duck season starting in a few months, I made it my focus to ditch the trailer and get my Grizzly in the bed of my truck.

Ended up going to front tires that are 8" in width and removed the 1" wheel spacers that I had in place. She's fit like a glove between the wheel wells. I had to take out my toolbox also, but felt that was better than leaving it in and my Grizzly's back tires sitting on the tailgate.

    Check it out!
