I realize I am late to the party, but can anyone tell me if I can still have Toyota pay for the rear leaf TSB? If not, will Toyota still do it if I pay for it and for how much? I have a 2005 DBL Cab ORP 2WD and no extended warranty.

So it sounds like I am too late to get Toyota to pay up. Will I get the same effect if I just go with the add a leaf or is it best to bite the bullet and take it to Toyota and just pay for it?

I have an 05 trd OR that I picked up last year with only 20k miles. I went to my local dealer and inquired about the leafspring tsb. They came back with the paperwork and quote for $1800 to upgrade the entire suspension, not just the rear leafs. I passed.....I'm thinking about adding the ride rites to mine. Good luck with yours

The TSB says 36 months or 36,000 miles. I was over by eight weeks, and had a heck of a time convincing them to do it. After calling Toyota Corpo, my truck goes in this week to have it done. My buddy had his done and said it still wasn't that great. He is also putting ride rites in.
