I wouldn't say active denial. There is just only a handful of people out of many thousands who are the ones to have an issue, majority of which have fixed the issue via the windshield replacement or drip line method. I'd say skepticism is justified in this case, especially since, and no offense meant, your original post came off as "My truck whistles, damn Toyota to hell", if you know what I mean.

First off, its a whistle... figure out the problem and fix it your self, grow up.
Second, here on tw we have lifted trucks with much bigger problems than a slight whistle such as vibrations, suspension noises, gas milage, and mod fever.

Jesus man your solutions are up here.. Tell them to perform the TSB then you have a truck with no problems.. No need for a replacement or refund.. You are a special kinda person, get all the info you could possibly use. "Fuck that I demand a new truck"

How about you stop complaining and go sell your truck for $32,000 back to the dealership or one of the thousands of other people looking for a Tacoma and go get a Jeep. Or spend $20 and fix your perfectly fine truck.

No offense taken. I tried to be concise. Maybe too concise. I am humored by posts that take it lightly. My truck is an office on wheels. The whistle is so loud that I cannot use the office. It drives me nuts on the highway, and when I am on the highway I am nearly constantly on the phone. It interferes with the phone. If you are young and your tricked out Tacoma is a substitute for a birth defect, or it is a toy or a social statement, OK, I understand. I was there once, a long time ago (and I still haul deer, bear, mountain stone, and firewood in mine, so rugged functionality under duress in the field is also a concern I share). Big boys gotta work, it's not an issue of 'growing up' (who really says that, except on the internet), and unless someone here is generous enough to step in and make good on my initial investment with Toyota, it's an issue I am going to raise hell about until someone somewhere has a fix or a solution one way or another. And by the way, Jdev, it's not a handful of buyers experiencing this. These Tacomas should not be in the channels of trade.
