What if I measured both shocks fully compressed and fully extended? Would that info be helpful?

That is the proper way to determine stroke. What *you* need to be sure of is that your shock is not limiting suspension travel in either direction. That's a quick way to destroy your shiny new equipment.

Um, can you provide post links? A quick search for "baja vibration" doesn't turn anything up. It sounds speculative on your part.

These trucks don't have nearly as much of a problem with vibes as forum posts would suggest.

What they have a problem with is picky, whiny owners.

The only legitimate vibes issues I've seen yet the front diff growl and takeoff shudder. The rest isn't related to the truck, but to multi-factorial circumstance.

yaa I've had my truck lifted a few ways now and havn't had any vibes. The only vibes I've found are from my drive shaft not being properly balanced after going rear lt

I am not sure what everyone means by "vibes."

My brothers 07 FJ with 120K miles, dads 11 tundra 50K both have a slight vibe at about 45-60 mph. I am talking slight. The steering wheel shakes just a little. Once you hit 75 they go away. My truck didn't until I went wheeling. Now it does just barely, but I think it is a balance issue. I took a chunk out of one of my "beadlock style" rings on a rock. I will be ordering some extra rings for when I am not off road to keep it looking good.

I need to acquire the top plates and hardware for the front shocks. I sold all of my old stuff when I took off my stock suspension.

As soon as I get it I can install the front shocks.

Does anyone have any laying around that they'd be willing to part with?

Can't you just use what you currently have? I used the stock parts when I did mine.

Bilstein 5100's on all four corners. Front set @ 0 with OME 883x coils. Alcon leaf springs. Viper Alarm. Wet Okole seat covers. WeatherTech Floor liners front and back. Oem Toyota chrome exhaust tip. ARE Shell. America Outlaw Wheels.
x2 Couldn't agree more. If you got exactly what you wonted and you are happy with it, then that's what matters. The thought of not having any issues with the vsc, vib's ect. and being designed to oem spec's that in itself would be worth it to me. Thanks for your post. I myself was wondering if this kit was available . I myself would only wont to do just the front set up and go the 5100s for the rear.

    I have vibes
But I'm nowhere near factory height

I wouldn't have gone the Baja route, but its not my money. Don't see the problem with criticism and discussion though

But I hate the fucking word "hater" so fucking much. Its the new "you're just jealous!"
