saw the ugliest soft topper just a little bit ago. it was on a honda ridgeline. lol. It looked really stupid, and some how made the whole “truck”(i use that term loosely) but it made it look even uglier.

lol. It does not look good IMHO. tell the truth, if you going to put any cab on one of those, do a hard one thats color matched, that way it just looks like a pilot.

yeah. and i’m also impressed they could even pull it off and make one.

I think the one i saw was the soft topper brand, because i don’t remember seeing wide windows. unless the best topper it does not have them?

yeha i know the best tops have them. but after looking i don’t see that best top makes one for the ridgeline. and thats what i was wondering, If the one for the ridgeline had the side windows or not.

Also i don’t see a photo of the soft topper folded down on the ridgeline, All the other trucks have a photo of it folded down.

yeah i had a impulse red 07 then sold it before i went overseas. but i didnt like that color red as much. so i jumped on the radiant red. it just looks so much better with the black than the impulse did.

Ive always thought that swing out bumpers look... incomplete without a soft topper or hard top or bed rack of some sort to fill out the truck

i would have put it all on at one time but i ran out of deployment play money. had to wait a few months before i could order the topper. i had the chance to get a hard shell cheap, but i hate those things. you lose your versatility and convenience.

that and with the softopper you dont have to drill into your truck! i just wish they put 2 more clamps in the box so you could have 3 per side. my front and back ends tend to bow a little depending on wind and all that. i put them as evenly as possible.

i figured out that if you are going 70ish with any wind over 40mph the velcro connections dont really like it. i was driving from McConnell to Dallas VPC in between all those tornados at the end of last month, kept having to pullover and redo the sides. i couldnt put the topper down cause i had all my bags and gear for my tdy in the bed.

Some shit I got on craigslist
Spent two nights camping in the back of mine this weekend at the Firefly music festival. Was surprisingly comfortable, even at 6' 3. Had a small air matress which got a little dewey in the early morning, but other than that it was all good. So nice not having to set anything up.

Which parts of the softopper have Velcro? Are the side panels held shut with Velcro?

My bestop only has Velcro on the bulkhead, which I keep secure with a piece on aluminum angle clamped to it, and the bottom corners of the rear window.
