Hey hows it going, I'm looking to setup the rear of my truck 2011 Access Cab. I've bought some Icon extended travel shocks with Camburg uppers for the front. I found some Deaver J66 leafspring pack and some All Pro Standard duty for the same price or $50 more for the All Pro Expedition. Which one do you guys prefer is better ? Or should I look into another brand ?
I'm using the truck for a daily driver but also go out to the desert and would like to go through some whoops at a decent speed. I'm not going to be towing but will have a load with stuff for camping. Also which shocks would be the best ? Thanks, Greg

I have the All Pro standard pack on my '11 DC and love it. The Expedition is used if your have a constant load of 300lbs, give or take, in your bed at all times. I've never tried the Deavers.

I have been running the j66 leaf pack and Icon 2.5 w/reservoir my truck since September and I love it! At higher speeds offroad it is pretty smooth. With that being said, I vote for Deaver.

How much sag with say 500lbs in the bed? I'm leaning towards the j66 leafpack but am worried about payload capacity.

The J66 is not designed to carry much weight at all and definitely not for long periods of time.

I've never had any weight in the bed other than the spare tire with the j66 pack.

Can I add an overload spring to the J66 pack to help out with the load ?

Just have Deaver make you a custom pack. They do them for like $750. Essentially they would just add the overload.

Will a 1.5" lift clear 295/70/17 tires in the rear ?

I'd give Doug (4WD) a shout, he builds some very capable leafs, or you could use his ideas and build a pack yourself, this is all based off your stock leafs.
