Current: 2001 Tacoma XCab 4WD 4 Cyl 5 Speed 119K and 2005 AWD Pontiac Vibe with 127K-slow as hell but good for 30 MPG

Before that: 2001 Hyundai Elantra--never had any problems, sold with 75K miles
1995 Dodge Dakota 4x4-nice truck but poor workmanship
1991 Buick Regal and 1986 GMC S15 2WD-both decent vehicles
1977 Chev Blazer 2WD with a straight six-- a rare bird and 71 AMC Matador

Forgot to mention I ended up with my dad's 91 Buick Century. All the other people I've seen driving one had blue hair. I put about 100K on in before the head gasket went.

My very first vehicle. My Dad's hand-me-down '79 Toyota Pickup. He didn't want to give it to me at first, but finally relented. This started it all for me with my love of Toyota Trucks!

Wish I could find a pic of me standing next to my 72 Matador. Now that was chick magnet. At least it had a bench seat so my girl could sit next to me.

1958 GMC 1/2 ton shortbed stepside, 6 cyl 3 on the tree: project I aquired in highschool- never built. Sold to a friend who also never built it. The front axle lives on under another friend's auto rotisserie

1984 Chevy Citation II 4 door hatch, 2.8 V6 auto: my dad bought this new when I was 6. Handed down when I went to work @ 18. They were an awful pile of junk to most people (and ours even said "PJ" on the fenders to proclaim it!) but other than a couple tranny rebuilds it gave nearly 400,000 trouble free km

1979 Chevy shortbed stepside, mild 350 turbo 350: slammed with custom interior, bodywork, paint. Changed hands once more after I sold it, currently sitting in a yard with roughly 75 other trucks that bodystyle

1983 Camaro Z28, 305 5 speed: bought off indian reservation for $900. Rough! Drove it home with no air cleaner on it (had a cobbled together Ford Motorcraft 4bbl on it) and there was so much crap in the needle & seat it stalled right as I pulled in the driveway. Tried to restart, backfire, holyfuckitsonfire... got it out before any major damage. Wanted the trans out of it for the stepside (until I learned how weak they are) Swapped the alloys onto my buddies 350 powered S10 and turfed it

1989 Reliant K 4 door, 2.2 auto: bought it from the brother of a guy I worked with (retired rig welder, would do mechanical refurbishments on these as a hobby) 6 days into ownership, it threw rod #3 on my way home from nightshift. In -30. Luckily, a mechanic who worked in the next town up the road from my hometown saw it let go while following me on the highway and gave me a ride home. Took it back to the guy I bought it from, had a core professionally built and he put it back together again. Got about 150,000 out of it before a head gasket went. Out to Kar-Bashers self serve yard it went!

2002 Suzuki Vitara JX convertible, 2.0 5 speed 4wd: my first new vehicle. Other than debadging, swapping the factory cassette player for a factory CD player, and putting some BFG All Terrain T/A's on in place of the useless Uniroyal Tiger Paws on my freshly black painted wheels, I just used it as is. Never really should have bought it... but wound up getting what I was in the market for 3 years later, which was...

2003 S10 reg cab short bed, 4 cyl 5 speed 2wd: started bone stock, and I left nothing alone (save for the powertrain) when I customized it. Color matched everything, one off 18" wheels, air ride. Pics in my gallery. Sold it shortly after moving to the country

1983 Chevy 3/4 ton, 2wd 350 4 speed: bought as a rough but rebuildable truck because I was beginning to need a truck. Was a little too needy $-wise to get it on the road real soon, so bought...

1980 Chevy heavy half longbed, 350, turbo 400: good old truck, and a real looker from 50 feet. The prospect of 300,000 on it and never having any major work done besides basic suspension & one trans scared me. Sold it to my next door neighbor (come to think of it, he never did pay me...)

1989 Chevy 1500 ext cab shortbed 2wd, 350 4L60: good truck! Served me well

1989 Chevy 2500 ext cab shortbed 4wd, 350 5 speed: still own. Pics in gallery

1995 Pontiac Firefly sedan, 1.3 auto: bought for the commute. Got about 175,000 out of it before a rocker arm broke

2000 Ford F250 supercab longbed 4wd, 7.3 auto: nice truck (Lariat) but diesels are too $$$ to maintain. Also, not reliable enough in -40 unless it got used daily, which it didn't

2001 Saturn SC2, 1.9 DOHC 5 speed: bought the day the firefly pooped out sight unseen, online, from a Saturn dealer. Paid WAY too much for it, but it's ammortized now. Current daily driver

2012 Tacoma... factory ordered the way I wanted, bought specifically as an occasional use vehicle, that gets pampered treatment. Payment on Super Duty was the same as on this, but it was starting to dollar me to death. This won't!
