I rarely do any kind off road driving ..Thinking about throwing the latitudes on the 06 Taco. Any thoughts or experiences with this tire. They're about 200 a pop.

I would get the p series LTX MS2 - similar tire life, better traction, maybe $20 more a tire.

I got the LTX MS2's in 265/70-16 for ~175 out the door. I like them way better than the Latitudes that are on the wife's Jeep.

I've had the Latitude Tour on my 08 Prerunner for 20,000 miles. Only problem was tire hop on one tire which seems to have been cured with road force balancing. I too rarely do any off road driving. They are great on the highway & surface streets and are wearing very well.

Michelin tires have the best wear of any tire I've EVER had hands down but they often do ride a little harsher than other tires.

My dad has a set of Michelins on a F150 4dr 4x4 that he has a over 80,000 miles on and they still have good tread. I'm amazed at how well they're wearing but he does keep them rotated ever 5,000 miles or less so maybe that's the secret to his extended tire life.

Did you ever try them out? I'm in the same predicament as you....

Loved that tire for all the 120,000 miles that I ran them for.
    Great grip and handling.
